Any science based on probability theory is deterministic. It's clear from the possible futures of Pascal's triangle that you have an array where every number is interconnected to every other. An infinite array of totally determined future possibilities that are bound to occur (in terms of probabilities.)

This is essentially the cyber future (head) that exists in variable time (see passim.) Acolytes of this system adopt a dogmatic position that says we exist in the variable time-mode (of machines) - of GPS and Relativity - even though it's obvious that spiral galaxies and twistings of the celestial material have to be in invariable time. That's the nature of a spiral; it's obviously a type of primordial rhythm - see P200 (spinning-top, the principle of continuity) and the examples in UVS (Vincent calls the universe 'paradoxical', and there's something in that!)

This future is heading away from here-and-now physical reality (of the athletic body) and hence away from the calmness of psyche it imbues.

What is true of an athlete can equally be so for a commune. Here are 3 pictures (2 seen previously)

Is what you are seeing a type of thoughtless gaiety? This is what 'they' would have us think but, in fact, how would that be possible in the here-and-now? It's the athletic Bruce Lee question: routine and practice and technique are one thing, flexible action and expression are another.

The West has grown almost stupid through over-thinking. We are trapped inside the convincing illusion of probabilities. The sense of here-and-now is contained in atmospheres that are communal, that ebb and flow.

Examples are the Chinese hutong; Tati's Mon UncleThieves' WorldThe Harder They Come.. In reality there are always two things going on: one is the technical, the other is the flexible and expressive. Too much thought leads to one at the expense of the other. The perfection of Apollo at the expense of the instinctive urges of Dionysus.

Wisdom is something in between. I've been watching Attack on Titan (prev) and noticed how thoughtful the Japanese are without being dogmatic. In Season 2, Sacha has a shouting match with her hunter father who advocates joining the throngs fleeing the titans and giving up the old traditions. There is no dogmatic answer to a condition of antagonistic balance.

The free-expression of a commune is in a condition of antagonistic balance. In the pictures - as in a Chinese hutong - the sort of almost derelict-looking and somewhat squalid surroundings act as an organic spur on the calmness of psyche. One could almost compare it to an anthill!

The environment is itself a product of free-expression and artisanal construction (see prev on the Cotswold buildings in The Wool-Pack). The physical and the psyche cannot be disentangled (Grace Slick's quote on 1798.) Whereas Western people pride themselves on their thoughtfulness, we tend to live in a condition of greed that depends on adding zeros (dollars or machine-code.)

A commune is thoughtless expression in the sense it has its own rhythms at a larger level of development than a body; the presence of dirt and squalor is even beneficial to the body's defences.

The physical condition impacts on psychic calmness. There is no political insinuation; it's not a political condition, it's more to do with expressive song, the soul of a commune.

Without a soul, politics is just a question of numbers, same as capital.
